Apple's iOS 6 Beta 1 Demo Includes:

Apple released iOS 6 beta 1 today to developers at their World Wide Developers Conference. At the keynote address the most prominent features were introduced.

iOS 6 beta 1 brings Siri to the iPad. Siri has also learned about sports, movies, restaurants, and how to open apps.

Another iOS 6 beta 1 feature is Apple's new mapping system which replaces google maps. It supports turn by turn navigation and can display traffic, construction, and accidents in the new map application.

iOS 6 also supports Facebook integration allowing you to post status updates, pictures, videos, and web pages from directly within the operating system itself. iOS 6 will also allow you to share contacts from Twitter and Facebook. Facebook can also sync calendars.

iOS 6 will allow users to share photo stream and post comments to others pictures.

A new application in iOS 6 is Passbook which replaces the need for physical boarding passes, tickets, coupons, and gift cards. These items can now be stored digitally in Apple's passbook application.

FaceTime in iOS 6 beta 1 can be used over cellular data networks including 3g, 4g, and LTE.

Apple's phone application has been updated in iOS 6 with a new look and the ability to reply to a phone call with a message or be reminded later.

iOS 6 supports do not disturb which prevents notifications from bothering a user until the feature has been disabled.

iOS 6 has added VIP's in mail and an easier way to add videos or pictures to messages.

Safari in iOS 6 beta 1 supports iCloud tabs, full screen mode, and an offline reading list.

Other features include redesigned iBookstore, appstore, and iTunes store and accessibility.

iOS 6 beta 1 is now available for developers to download.
