Telugu Desam Party (TDP) sources have strongly rejected allegations leveled by NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar regarding the tragic plane crash that killed former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The party described the claims as 'completely unfounded, baseless and seem to be politically motivated'. Rohit Pawar had previously suggested a nexus between the TDP leadership, specifically Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, and the owners of VSR Ventures, the company operating the ill-fated aircraft. TDP sources clarified that any suggestion of the party or Minister Naidu shielding individuals connected to the crash is entirely false. The response comes amid intensifying political friction following the January 28 accident near Baramati, which claimed five lives. While the investigation into the crash continues, the TDP maintains that the allegations are an attempt to politicise a sensitive matter and interfere with the ongoing probe.
