My name is Gene Leon. I am from St Lucia in the Caribbean, live in the US, and I an economist by training.

I literally stumbled on a WhiteTiger webpage a couple of years ago and there was an instant connection. Attending the 3-week intensive training in Thailand was a challenge, so I was thrilled when Covid-19 provided the opportunity for an online training class. I have been impressed by the structure and content of this online program: detailed lectures with course notes, Q&A interactions with master instructor Tevia Feng, forums to share and explore experiences and questions, and analysis of practice of the forms by certified instructors.

I think this longer 15-week format promotes discipline and allows time to internalize principles, making it a transformative training system!

What have I learned so far? White Tiger Qigong training is based on the notion that “Integrity of a structure is based on achieving harmony in the connectivity of the parts.” For example, our bodies will have the integrity of the structure or the capacity to remain healthy when the bones, organs, and muscles are connected in harmony.

This harmony in turn is integrated with a systemic balance in the emotions, which together allow a body-mind-spirit connection for promoting maximum human potential.
