🚐 - Ep. 6| This our first time doing a whole camper van build out.

In this episode of the van build, I finally wrap up the insulation stage and start locking in the structure. I finish installing the adhesive wall insulation, fill in the ceiling ribs with insulation, and then move on to completing the wall framing using reclaimed wood.

This build hasn’t been about perfection, it’s been about adapting, reusing materials, and making things work inside a curved metal box. Along the way, I also break down the real costs so far, sharing a price and budget update on what’s currently been done in the van.

Last year, we lived in my van full-time while traveling across the U.S.—before it was even built out. At the time, all I had was a simple bunk-style bed propped up by four loose 2x4s and a single sheet of 1" plywood for a mattress base. I wish- we started YouTube back then! But, we'll be sharing clips from that time throughout my van build instead. 🙂
