Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Seaflo 12-volt DC submersible automatic bilge pump with the magnetic float switch. Now this is an all-in-one pump and float switch, which offer water evacuation of any built-up water from the bilge wells on your boat. This does install under your boat's inboard motor. It is fully submersible. Has a magnetic float switch, which will automatically turn on when the water is present and shuts off when the water is removed, so there's no need for a separate float switch.

The pump will not turn on if it's immersed in oil, it is designed to only remove water. The strainer on the bottom base here will easily remove from the base for cleaning. Basically you can see the black button on this side and one on this side, if you just push in on those then lift up, you can remove the pump just like that, and then your strainer base stays remain. So there's no need to disconnect the base or the plumbing. This is where your hose will attach to when you're replacing the pump. So if you're just replacing the pump, this can all stay in and then you just slide it on, snap it into place.

The hose outlet is a 1 1/8 inch diameter. This does meet or exceed the RoHS, SGS and ISO standards.Few specs on this. The voltage is 12 volts DC. The wire lead on this is three feet. Maximum amps is three amps, maximum power draw is five amps.

The head flow on this is 1100 gallons per hour at zero feet, and 806 gallons per hour at three feet. Maximum water temperature is 110 degrees Fahrenheit. And the last thing to do is just give you the dimensions on this. Overall height, it's going to be right at 4 1/8 inches tall, the length from the back to the end of the outlet is going to be right at six inches, and then the width of it at the widest point is right at three inches. But that should do it for the review on the Seaflo 12-volt DC submersible automatic bilge pump with the magnetic float switch..
