そこには意外な光景がありました。

神戸元町の旧居留地は、神戸開港とともに外国人のために造られた地区。
明治時代から大正時代にかけて栄えました。

高度商業地域のまっただ中、洋館やレトロなビルが立ち並ぶ異国情緒あふれる街並み。
歴史と現代が素敵に共存する珍しい地区。

日中は買い物客やカップルでにぎわう大丸回りのエリア、そこを早朝散歩しました。

The Old Settlement in Motomachi, Kobe is a historic district that was created for foreigners when Kobe opened its port to foreign trade.
