Basic principles behind Gyroscope | How gyroscope measures angle displacement using Angular Velocity

Описание к видео Basic principles behind Gyroscope | How gyroscope measures angle displacement using Angular Velocity

Mocap Suit Building Part 7
In this video, I have tried to clear out basic concepts behind gyroscope. This is the past part of the episode, where I explained what is Linear momentum, linear velocity and linear acceleration. While explaining force, momentum, velocity and acceleration, I have also covered the concept of vectors. And how the direction of all these four attributes are measured.
Post linear velocity and acceleration, I have moved on to rotational motion. Where I have explained what is angular velocity, angular momentum and angular acceleration. How to measure them along with the direction. While explaining how to measure angular velocity, I have explained what is radian and how to calculate radians along with the conversion of radian to degree. Finally, I have written a code in my ESP32 using Arduino, to extract the gyro data and convert the data in degree. Also I have demonstrated the different behaviour of gyro data with accelerometer data.
During the coverage of the solution, I also have explained why earth gravity causes the acceleration of 9.8m/sec2 and how to calculate g using Newton's law of motion and universal law of gravity.
During the test, I had find some issues related to gyro data; which need to complement with accelerometer data to get proper outcome and hence, I need to learn more about gyroscope and how to do sensor fusion. Which I will cover in next video.
