Exploring Isla Taboga, part 2

We returned to Panama's Isla Taboga during the dry season. This time, the town of San Pedro has posted maps for trails we were not aware existed when we first visited.

In this video, we hike up La Cruce, a cross overlooking the eastern side of the island, then around to Playa Jobo, on the north side. Our stay spanned a weekend, when the anchorage turns into a giant chaotic party during the day, full of chartered boats with revelers from Panama City.

In the last half of the video, we motor around to the back (southwest) side of the island to hide from swells. It's not pictured here, but we incurred some damage to our keel when we bumped against an underwater boulder. We'd already planned to haul Miette out for new bottom-paint this year, but the damage is speeding up our plans.
