As a music composer and pianist, I'm always looking for new ways to practice my music composition and piano. Today, I came up with this music challenge. In this music challenge, I have only 30 minutes to compose a piano prelude (short piano music song). I will show you how to start a piece with music improvisation, and slowly write a piano piece. I like the result of this piano composition exercise. It reminds me of the impressionism of Erik Satie, or a film score / soundtrack for a dark / thriller / mystery movie.
