Hi All,
I appreciate this is rather a long video but if you're interested in the DARK story, try and stick with it.
Hopefully you'll find it interesting.
On the 50th Anniversary of recording Dark Round The Edges, we meet up with many faces from the past at what used to be Giles Photography.
DARK rehearsed for the Dark Round The Edges album in The Cellar under the shop.
Sadly neither Martin Weaver nor Allan Bowley could attend, as they now both live abroad.

Many other faces from the past were there:

Charlie Hiams,
DARK's first drummer.

Andy Johnson,
Ron's brother who gigged with us 3 times:
our 25th Anniversary at the 1997 Northampton Beer Festival;
Our 'Memories In Pink' event - in memory of my daughter Carly, Kim's twin;
Our final Live gig in October 2011, which is the Live LP of our 'Dark Cross The Ages' double album.

Bob Stryjek who played at our December 1st 1973 gig when we hoped to get an Island Records contract.
Their A&R man never showed.
He also plays percussion on 'The Jam 1975'.

Mark Parish;
who with Kenny Piper (Ron's cousin) became our Roadies.

Julian Temple;
who was bass player in the band I joined After DARK' - 'City Road' and who played bass on 'The Jam 1975' and 'Jam Knight' on our DARK Jams CD.

Andrew Gineikis;
who worked with me from word go in my Dad's business.
He is on both covers of the lyric booklet included with many of the DRTE releases - and his cat is in the photo of 'The Cat' lyrics.
