Structure and Orientation: The temple faces east, featuring a five-tiered Rajagopuram. In front of it stand Anjaneyar and a Deepasthambham, with Thumbikai Alwar and Nagar idols at the entrance. Inside, devotees will find Garudan with eight serpent ornaments, known as 'Ashta Naga Garudan,' a rare depiction.

Moolavar Sanctum: The main deity, Malai Mandala Perumal, resides with Sridevi and Bhudevi atop a small hill. This placement, along with Sridevi’s downward gaze, is said to protect devotees from Graha Doshas and Vastu Doshas, offering blessings similar to prayers at Tirupati.
Unique Features: Unlike traditional temples, Yoga Narasimhar graces the sanctum's entrance instead of Gajalakshmi, and this rare configuration is deeply revered. Those who step into this temple are believed to receive divine assistance in matters related to house buying, property sales, and asset protection.

Prayers to Malai Mandala Perumal are believed to resolve disputes within families, bring peace, and offer protection against negative forces such as black magic (Billi Sunyam). The temple also holds special significance for Naga Dosha relief, with eight serpents adorning Garudan’s form, described in detail by Pambatti Siddhar.

Situated in Kalpakkam near Sadras (Sathurangapattinam), this temple is easily accessible via the ECR (East Coast Road) and is located 70 km from Chennai. Visitors traveling from Chengalpattu can find direct buses, including routes 108 and 118, or take shared autos from Vengambakkam Junction.

கருடாழ்வார், 'அஷ்ட நாக கருடன்' என அழைக்கப்படுகிறார், ஏனெனில் அவரது உடலில் எட்டு நாகங்கள் ஆபரணமாக உள்ளன. அவரது தலை, காதுகள், தோள்கள், மார்பு மற்றும் இடுப்பில் நாகங்கள் காணப்படுகின்றன.
