In a beautiful harbour by the sea,
Where the Picker Pals live wild and free.
Plastic bags and bits of net,
Make the ocean quite upset!
So two kind teams had a great plan,
To clean the harbour, spick and span.
Discover SUP and King Sitric,
Gathered folks to do it quick.
(Chorus)
So let’s remember, near or far,
To care for oceans where we are.
With Picker Pals, we take a stand,
And everyone can lend a hand
(Verse 2)
On paddleboards and kayaks bright,
We all set off to put things right.
With baskets ready, and pickers too
The band of Pals knew what to do!
Owen showed us how to stay,
Safe and steady all the way.
Craig the crab was brave and bold,
He hates litter, so we’re told!
(Chorus)
So let’s remember, near or far,
To care for oceans where we are.
With Picker Pals, we take a stand,
And everyone can lend a hand
(Verse 3)
We picked up bottles, ropes, and bags,
And nets that fluttered like old flags.
Owens dinghy zipped around,
Collecting litter that we’d found.
Some boys were fishing near the pier,
They caught some fish and gave a cheer!
Benjamin asked them all about,
The fish they’d caught without a doubt.
(Chorus)
So let’s remember, near or far,
To care for oceans where we are.
With Picker Pals, we take a stand,
And everyone can lend a hand
(Verse 4)
Declan found a dragon toy,
It made him laugh, it brought him joy.
“Did it swim the Irish Sea?”
A mystery for you and me!
When all the rubbish was packed away,
We smiled and said, “What a great day!”
The harbour sparkled, clean and bright,
With laughs and smiles, we did it right.
(Chorus)
So let’s remember, near or far,
To care for oceans where we are.
With Picker Pals, we take a stand,
And everyone can lend a hand
