Today we are truly blessed with the chance to talk to one of the DMV’s next up-and-coming artists, Koonce. Growing up in PG Country, Koonce knows his way around the area and the music that keeps it moving. Describing himself as a “Lyrical Basquiat”, he uses his music to translate his internal feelings and complex emotions into something tangible. Something that listeners can relate to, yet learn from. Always emphasizing meaning in his writing and creativity in his flow, Koonce is poised to take his game and name to the next level this year.

With K.O. Season in full effect, expect to see consistent content outta Koonce this year. From some fire new visuals to a prospective debut project called, “LEAP”, 2021 will be his year. Mark. Our.
