The short explanation for this song and video is that Battlezone Combat Commander needs a patch to fix the remaining issues with the game (particularly things like the multiplayer stuttering problem, the AI team occasionally stalling out, any remaining crashes, and other bugs that the community is aware of). However, support has ended for the game and this is a plea to the publisher of the game to try to find some way to fix the remaining problems.

There is a longer and more interesting story behind Battlezone Combat Commander though. It is a Real Time Strategy/First Person Shooter hybrid game which is a very unique combination in the gaming world. Also, it was originally released in 1999 as Battlezone 2: Combat Commander. Unfortunately, it wasn't a huge sales success at that time so the support period ended fairly quickly. However, a couple of the developers and a small but dedicated community kept releasing updates, improvements, and mods for the game all the way up until around 2017. Rebellion bought the rights to the Battlezone franchise and contracted a team to make a remaster of the game based on the game code that had been developed over all those years. The game was re-released in early 2018 (as Battlezone Combat Commander) with further updated graphics and various improvements. However after support eventually ended again, there were a few issues that were left open and unresolved. In many ways, this game has been in development for over 20 years and has had a small but dedicated fan base for almost that long as well. It would be a shame for the game to be left with the current remaining issues. There really hasn't been another game quite like it after all these years so Battlezone Combat Commander must live on.
