Mutual Inductance & Solenoids - Physics

This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into the mutual inductance of solenoids. The emf induced in a second coil is proportional to the mutual inductance of the two coils and the rate of change of the current in the first coil. The mutual inductance depends on the number of turns in the other coil, the magnetic flux that flows in the second coil and the current flowing in the first coil.
