Video shows phone settings needed to receive International Roaming signal on mobile phone. Without these settings the roaming would likely not work even if the mobile phone company that issued the SIM card has activated the feature on their network.

THIS VIDEO:
Shows how a 'Jazz' SIM card from Pakistan's Mobilink cell phone company is used on 'roaming' in USA with simple changes in phone settings. Same phone settings work in other countries and with other SIM cards - we just have to select the phone network available in that country.

I have personally used these settings for International Roaming to connect to :
Rogers network in Canada
Vodafone network in Europe
Vodafone network in Middle East

TO USE INTERNATIONAL ROAMING:
We need 3 things - explained below in detail
Request mobile phone company that issued SIM to activate Roaming
Use Unlocked mobile phone that can work in other country
Have correct settings on mobile phone so it can receive roaming signal

1) ACTIVATE INTERNATIONAL ROAMING 'SERVICE'
Call the mobile phone company that issued the SIM and request them to activate international roaming on that SIM. You can also request this through their website or on the app. The phone company will likely send (text) you special settings you would need for roaming, and a list of rates for using the phone in other country. If you have prepaid SIM the phone company will ask you to load more money in your account.

2) USE UNLOCKED 'WORLD' PHONE
Phone signals work on different frequencies, and different countries have different frequencies (bands) for their mobile networks. Many (not all) phones sold in a country work for the mobile phone signal in that country only. If you are going to travel international, be sure you have a mobile cell phone that can work on other country's mobile network and is unlocked. Worldwide phones like Apple iPhone 6 and higher, and many models of Nokia and Samsung work awesome.

3) UPDATE PHONE SETTINGS TO RECEIVE ROAMING SIGNAL
When I use Jazz (Pakistan SIM) card in USA, I am gong to get roaming signal from USA phone company - not a direct signal from Jazz. Therefore I need special settings in my phone to receive the roaming signal. If I have taken care of step (1) and step (2) above, but do not update my phone settings, I will not get roaming signal on my phone. This is explained and shown step-by-step in this video.
