For our level 2 audio package we changed out the usual front speakers for directional ones.

Which does a better job of sending the sound towards the back of the room.

We also never use the center channel in the ceiling unless the client specifically specifies that’s what they want. We want that center channel at listening level. Most of the dialog when speaker comes from the center channel. That’s why sound bars typically go right under the tv.


Tv is a 98” Samsung du9000

Front speakers are proficient C841
Rear speakers are kef ci200er
Center is a now discontinued Kef model
Sub is a 12” Elac
Receiver is a Denon 1800
