The Clasica San Sebastian / Klasikoa Donostia is the first big appointment after the Tour de France. The grueling climbs of the Basque Country set the scene for this semi-classic race.

The main favorites for the 2023 edition were: Remco Evenepoel, Juan Ayuso, Carlos Rodriguez, Pello Bilbao and Felix Gall.
