Whether we realise it or not, we are completely surrounded by Art and I'm ready for a change in how my society values it.
This song was written as a reaction to certain comments made by Nicky Morgan which went so far as to say an 'Arts degree won't get you anywhere', a comment which couldn't be further from the truth and reveals a small minded view of the world.
Without access to all the choirs, orchestras, music lessons and other creative extra-curricular activities, I would never have had the confidence to achieve some of the things I am most proud of. The Performing Arts have given me the confidence to stand up for myself and my opinions and a medium to voice these opinions and have them heard. The Arts are a fundemental part of education and general life and they will not go down without a fight...

Cloud's is saying you have what it takes to achieve your full potential.... all you have to do is 'lift your feet up of the ground' and bring the change we need.
