My Wii Keeps Freezing when recieving messages

Every time I start my Wii and it tries to load the messages it freezes after it tries to receive the next new message, and now I can't load any channel or play any game because it will freeze before I can even start it, and I also can't go to the Wii Options or anything else! Well I just got my Wii back after it was taken away because me and my retarded dad were fighting, and after my Wii received the first 12 messages that I didn't get before because I didn't have my Wii it froze when trying to get the other messages. I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it could be because either my Wii is receiving too many messages at the same time or it could be because it's receiving a corrupt message.

I already sent in my Wii and they gave me a new one back, so I no longer have this problem with my Wii.

TO EVERYONE WATCHING:
This video is from January 2008. Back then Homebrew wasn't around so I didn't have any way to fix my Banner Brick. So I sent it to Nintendo and they sent me back a "new" Wii. If you have this problem with your Wii then I'd suggest searching "Banner Brick" on Google or on wiibrew.org
