Level 4 Closed Eye Walking, Measuring Objects

Skills Level 4- Build Spatial awareness, depth perception, and visualization skills. Math Skill: space and judgment.

Closed Eye Walking: Do Skill from 5, 10, and 15 feet
Measuring Objects: Different lengths 5 times accurately at 15 feet. Make sure your child drops one end of the rope or string so that they are actually estimating the length and not hanging on to both ends and adjusting when they don't estimate correctly. In the video, Shawn shakes his hands as I'm teaching the class and gives the impression that he is starting his estimate over at 15 feet. When in reality he had adjusted the rope to the correct length when he had walked up to the Kleenex box and didn't let go of the rope to estimate again the length of the Kleenex box at 15 feet.
