To book a UTS ticket, you must download the UTS Mobile app, register an account, and log in. You can then book paperless tickets for journeys or platforms, or paper-based tickets which require printing at a kiosk or counter, or paperless season tickets. For paperless journey tickets, your phone's GPS must be enabled, and the journey must start within one hour of booking.

Step 1: Register and log in

*Download and open the UTS Mobile app.

*Register using your mobile number, which will be your Login ID.

*After registration, log in using your mobile number and the password you set.

Step 2: Book a ticket

*Paperless journey ticket:

*Select "Normal Booking" or "Quick Booking" for frequent routes.

*Enter the source and destination stations.
Pay through your R-Wallet or other payment options.

*Travel with the paperless ticket displayed in the app. You do not need a physical printout.

Paper-based ticket:

*Book the ticket through the app.

*You will receive a Booking ID via SMS.

*Go to a station's Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM) or booking counter to print the ticket using the Booking ID.

Season ticket:

*Select "Season Ticket" and enter the source and destination stations.

*Provide personal details and a summary of the fare will be displayed.

*Book the ticket via your R-Wallet or other payment methods.

*The season ticket will be available under "Show Ticket" and is valid from the next day.

Platform ticket:

*Select "Platform Ticket" from the "Book Ticket" menu.

*Book the paperless or paper-based ticket as described above.

Step 3: Travel with your ticket
Paperless:

*Keep your phone's GPS enabled.

*When requested, show the ticket in the app by tapping "Show Ticket".

*Note that paperless tickets cannot be cancelled, and travel must begin within one hour of booking a paperless journey ticket.

Paper-based:

*Ensure you have the physical printout of the ticket.

*Travel without the printout will be considered ticketless and may result in a penalty. ‼️
