This song was recorded by American rock band the Doobie Brothers on their second album, Toulouse Street (1972). The song was the Doobie Brothers' first big hit in 1972. It was written by Tom Johnston. Drummers John Hartman, which also played the tambourine, and Michael Hossack which added steel drums. Both gave the song a great feel, with many different bass drum patterns and a nice add with the tambourine.
