The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. There are roughly 300 islands known for their palm-lined white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rain forests. The rich Coral reefs supports a variety of marine life such as sharks and rays.

Andaman Islands are accessible by air and boat. There are regular flight from Chennai and Kolkata. The island can also be reached by waterways.

By Air: Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair is connected to Kolkata and Chennai aiport. Air India, Spice Jet, Jet Konnect, Spice Jet and GoAir are available flight services.

By Sea: There are regular ship services leaving from Chennai, Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam to Port Blair. There are 2 ships- MV Nancowry and MV Swarajdweep - from Chennai and the MV Nicobar and MV Akbar from Kolkata. The journey takes 50-60 hours to reach its destination.

The area receives minimum fluctuations in the temperature and is always pleasant. The best time to visit Andaman Nicobar Island is considered from November to May. However, March on wards the temperature starts rising so I would recommend you to visit Andaman from November to February.

Havlock Island

Havelock Island is known for its beaches, like Elephant Beach, with its coral reefs and crescent-shaped Radhanagar Beach is a popular spot for watching the sunset. Havlock Island is a beautiful place to spend a couple of days.

Neil Island

Neil Island is famous for Bharatpur Beach which has coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, Laxmanpur Beach 1 which is known for its sunset views and Laxmanpur Beach 2 which is famous for the Natural Coral Bridge. Neil Island is a perfect place for adventure and exploration. You can easily spend 2 days here and not get bored.

In the next video I will show you Baratang Island. Stay tuned!!
