On December 29, 2025, a star-studded special screening for the war drama Ikkis was held in Mumbai. The event served as both a high-profile premiere and an emotional tribute, as the film marks the final on-screen appearance of the late legendary actor Dharmendra.

The premiere was graced by some of the biggest names in Indian cinema:
Salman Khan: Arrived in an all-black ensemble; reports noted he appeared visibly emotional while looking at a poster of Dharmendra, whom he considers a father figure.
