Becoming Beloved to Allah and His Messenger - Yahya Rhodus

"Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and peace."
(Qur'an 33:56)

When we send salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ, we are fulfilling a commandment from Allah, and through this, we draw closer to Allah’s love. It is narrated in a hadith:

“Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him ten times.”
(Sahih Muslim)
