This was another Three Stooges scene that I couldn’t help but make a screen recording of before uploading it here. The episode it’s from is “Wham-Bam-Slam!”, which is a direct remake of “Pardon My Clutch”.

Just like the other clips I shared, every time I look back on this scene, I immediately can’t help but see it as a perfect beginning for “Pardon My Clutch”. It provided great context for Shemp’s health problems, and for how and why Claude A. Quacker came into the mix.

As for “Wham-Bam-Slam!” as a short, it was another remake that I’m not particularly fond of. “Pardon My Clutch” was quite honestly funnier than the former, and aside from the episode’s beginning and the part featuring the lobster, “Wham-Bam-Slam!” wasn’t all that fun or eventful either. It’s frequent use of old stock footage was a big reason for why, that’s for sure.
