Friends Colony is one of the prestigious colony in South Delhi. Density of the colony is very low. This is a gated colony near to Mathura Road. However, some older independent properties remain providing a nice mix to South Delhi. Most of the residents are doctors or lawyers or well to do entrepreneurs.
Has a very active Community Centre with a large number of restaurants, a cinema hall, a supermarket (Modern Bazaar), beauty clinics, as well as offices for utilities like Electricity & Telephones. Two main hospitals are nearby: Escorts & Apollo.
