The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has officially finalized its seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, with Congress, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, and Sharad Pawar’s NCP each contesting 85 seats. After extensive discussions, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole confirmed the arrangement. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has also announced the names of 65 candidates. The 288-member Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with vote counting set for November 23. As the term of the current assembly concludes on November 26, all eyes are on this pivotal election and the implications for the MVA alliance.
