Petrol Price War: IPMAN Urges NNPC to Address Dangote Refinery Pricing Concerns

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has raised serious concerns over the petrol pricing from the Dangote Refinery, urging the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) to ensure that fuel prices remain competitive and affordable for both marketers and consumers. With the NNPC’s recent pricing of petrol from the refinery at N898 per litre, IPMAN argues that this is significantly higher than anticipated, potentially disrupting the drive for energy self-sufficiency in the country. In response, Dangote Refinery has firmly denied selling at such a price, calling the claims "misleading and mischievous."
