Bio for Dr. Jacqueline Dikansky:
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in a Russian immigrant family. She grew up in a home where her father's dental office was in the same building. She grew up playing with dental instruments and helping my dad in the office. She knew she wanted to go into healthcare ever since she was a child. As she got older, she learned more about dentistry and appreciated how it combines surgery, art, and healthcare. Today, she practice pediatric dentistry in Manhattan, NY and Madison, CT.

College - New York University
Medical School - New York University College of Dentistry
Residency - Yale Program at New Haven Hospital

Typical Day in the life of a Pediatric Dentist:
A combination of cleanings, exams, surgical procedures, emergency visits, and as many jokes, games, and trust-building experiences as her patients allow her to provide.

Residency training:
A pediatric dentistry residency is 2-3 years long. It includes many different rotations, and a regular call schedule.
