Beauty is a poem by Chuck Perkins

Beauty has always been. It doesn't need the validation of human senses. It precedes humanity. It existed before space exploded. There was beauty in the sublimity of nothingness. A pristine aquarium of space. Representing all of the possibilities of everything that might have exist. We have only scratched the surface. Beauty is earthly. It is extraterrestrial. An existential necessity. It brings all the colors.
Titillating the lower chakra while stimulating the intellect. It might be obscured by the storm, but the storm is finite. It could only rage for so long. Minus consideration of person and property. There is a spectacular wealth in the deluge. Advances that beauty doesn't exist. It might be proof of its that existence, but it says nothing about beauty.
A life void of beauty is wretched, a wasteland unconducive. We experience in an infinitesimal slice of the watchmaker's aesthetic. A touch stone, lifting the sights of civilization, saving us from a vulgar dystopia. All rational beings need beauty, especially the misanthrope. We create new ways to harness its power. Beauty is boundless and infinite. It is a carrot coaxing humanity out of the muck.
