In this interview, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, the voice of Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, sits down to celebrate the home release of the film, and celebrate the fact that as of 2024, she has voiced Miles 'Tails' Prowler for a solid decade.

O'Shaughnessey has been a part of the Sonic franchise for over a decade now, and voiced Sonic's right-hand Fox since 2014. She has had a long career in the voice over industry, including roles in Doc McStuffins, Powerpuff Girls, Naruto, and Sonic BOOM, but it goes without saying, Tails might be the one character with the biggest following.

O'Shaughnessey in #sonic3 fleshes out Tails as she can only do, along side the blue hedgehog (voiced by Ben Schwartz) and fan favourite, Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba). The trio take on a new, more impressive hedgehog, Shadow (voiced by Keanu Reeves).

In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to battle Shadow, a mysterious new enemy with powers unlike anything they've faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, they seek out an unlikely alliance to stop Shadow and protect the planet.

During the interview, O'Shaughnessey discusses the last decade and what it means to be recognized as THE voice for Tails, what might come for Tails and Sonic in the future, and the improv and singing talents she'd like to try out more and more.
