Two highly toxic chemicals that would ignite spontaneously when mixed were used as fuel and oxidizer on the Titan II. They could be kept on the missile for years at a time at a certain temperature. This allowed the Titan II to launch at a moment's notice but required some very special equipment and procedures if it had to be removed.
