CLASSIC problem, not many people know about this, we see so tube design schematics all the time, made like this.. old and new, this whole all tubes was made wrong like this, i fixed it, now the unit works perfectly nice and stable.
TWO fixes : Grid stopper 1k to 2k series resistor. ( the most simple fix )
OR : Grid resistor to GND and series Capacitor ( this also fixes DC into a potentiometer )
and of course you always dont want your input stage to handle DC input anyways,
if it is audio related. DC is not audio and should be removed for better stability.
