I've already received permission from the student I helped with reviewing the personal statement. The student matched last year but needed to refine the personal statement several times before submitting it. I will go over the first draft of the personal statement in detail.

I'll show you how what might seem like a heartwarming story to you can sometimes come off as superficial to the reader. You might think your personal statement is amazing because you’ve woven in all the right key characteristics. Still, an experienced physician can spot the difference between made-up fluff and genuine passion.
