Ahowee - Badi Dake Na∙ade? (Official Video)

Badi dake na∙ade? is a song written and originally composed by Lt. Kenneth M. Momin. The literal meaning of "Badi dake?" means, "why so idle?", during "Wangala" the major festival among the Garo community.
The song is portrayed through the lens of a group of young lads who, drag the lazy one to the celebration, telling him that he's missing a lot in life if he lets this time of the year slip away.
At the common ground, the village folk gather with zeal, dancing, drinking, feasting and talking. It is also the time of the year when the young boys and girls select their lifelong partners, which the males initiate by showing their creative side to win over the hearts of the ladies through pick-up lines, Music, strength, wit and humour. The song also portrays the traditional priests laying down offerings to 'Misi Saljong', God of harvest.
