Commemorating the birth anniversary of #BirChilarai, Hon'ble CM Shri Sarbananda Sonowal attended the Bir Chilarai Divas celebrations in Bongaigaon. On the occasion, the CM offered floral tributes to the legendary Koch general.

The CM presented the Bir Chilarai Award 2019 to the iconic athlete and Arjuna Award winner Shri Bhogeswar Baruah. The award carries a citation and financial assistance worth ₹ 3 lakh. The CM also unveiled a souvenir titled 'Sangramsingha' on the occasion.
