In the third set, the guests were not inferior to Zenit in any way, resulting in a score of 21:21. However, the hosts came back with a strong block, leading to a 14:4 advantage for the blue-and-white-blue team. After a tie in the final set, only one team was able to score points, resulting in a 25:21 victory for the hosts and a 3:0 scoreline. Vladislav Babkevich was the most productive player for Zenit, scoring 21 points.
