Father, I am the image!...Tēvs, es esmu tēls!

Work aims to explore and artistically interpret the potential of self-portrait as a form of visual communication, using the image of Jesus Christ combined with the aesthetic and symbols of modern mass media to critically reflect the impact of narcissism, idol culture and social networks on an individual's identity and collective consciousness.
The work tends to reveal how a large-format self-portrait of a mosaic -- with the nimbus of a TV PAL signal, 12 glass hearts as a reference to the backdrop of St. Vaccarfood and reverse black-and-white photography -- can function as a contemporary visual allegory that simultaneously reflexes about the transformation of religious symbols, digital propaganda mechanisms, and cultural romanticization. The aim is to analyse the ability of such an art form to influence the viewer's perception, as well as to stimulate discussion about the artist's role as an impressionist and influencer of young generations on social and cultural networks, taking into account the wider context - from internal conflicts of post-religious society to the visualisation of global geopolitical discourse.
