Benjamin Tod, "Not Coming Home" // GemsOnVHS™

Benjamin Tod and Barry Duvall gave us a little tour of the (said-to-be-haunted) Palace Theatre in Greenville, Kentucky. Apparently, these hallowed walls have been home to many noteworthy musicians of yesteryear. It seems that Muhlenberg county in general is the birthplace a lot of authentically American music from the past, as the local unofficial-yet-premier historian Mr. Duvall laid out for us. We've actually been working on a bit of a historic documentary detailing just that subject with this unlikely duo, but more on that later.

The first Muhlenberg Music Mission went off with a bang at the old Palace theater in Greenville, Kentucky. Mr. Matt Heckler played, along with Lost Dog street band and more. Before the show, at what could be described as "the sound check", Benjamin Tod put on a show for the assembled few preparing for the night's big charity concert. You could hear a pin drop in the room - mostly because it was empty, but anyone who was there was quiet for that 4 minutes of song Ben did here.

Preorders for Benjamin Tod's 3rd studio album, "Songs I Swore I'd Never Sing" will be available June 14th.
