In 1992, The Herbst Program for Humanities, now known as the Herbst Program for Engineering, Ethics and Society, had a lecture series on Technology and Responsibility in five parts, which focused on various elements of technological power and peril. The series was filmed and the essays also made into a book edited by Athanasios "Thanasi" Moulakis:
