TWIN TURBO 1,145RWHP VZ MALOO UTE SMOKES THE TYRES ON THE DYNO

I was invited to BYE Performance to check out Dean Irvine's Twin Turbo 408 Cube VZ Maloo Ute get put through its paces on the dyno. The first few runs saw the car smoke the tyres on every run but still managed nearly 750rwhp on each run.

We then loaded the back of the Ute with 4 guys to get some weight over the rear of the car, it certainly helped with the Twin Turbo Weapon laying down a string of 1,100+rwhp runs with a best of 1,145rwhp.

You'll see on the video that the car still smokes the tyres even with the weight in the back so it's fair to say it still has more in it, but for now with a safe tune and a conservative 20psi of Boost the owner and Engine tuner were happy to leave it and see how the car performs down the Drag Strip (keep an eye out as we'll have footage tonight).
