It was 21 years since His Majesty Sultan Qaboos had come to the throne of Oman and the country was changing fast. Many new roads and buildings were springing up and the city was expanding. I found these old highlights from Omani TV and film of driving round during the celebrations. Ruwi at night, Muttrah as the sun went down, Riyam Park. It all seems so long ago now !
