The Shaolin Monks Shoes are the everyday shoe for the Shaolin Monks in Henan and you see them worn all over the temple, by the calligraphers, Chinese medicine practitioners and of course the Shaolin monks themselves.

They have a really grippy sole, which helps when farming and carrying out daily chores. They are seamless on the sides, which stops any of the shoe digging in when in meditation position and are dyed in the saffron colour the Shaolin Monks robes come in.

“Hi, my name’s Doug Swift, I’ve come here to the Shaolin Temple in China. I;ve just finished a little bit of training to talk to you about the Shaolin Monk Shoes, we have for sale in Enso Martial Arts Bristol.

These are a fantastic shoe, you see a lot of the Shaolin Monks wearing them here. They have a really grippy sole, that they need for everyday things like farming and walking around. No seams on the side, so when sitting in meditation you don’t get any of those seams digging into your feet. They are the saffron colour, which is the same as the Shaolin monk’s robes.
