Today we're going take a look at the Peterson Great White Round LED trailer license plate light. Now this is a nice compact LED light, illuminates your trailer's license plate. It is a single LED light which will meet the DOT requirements when it's mounted properly above or on the side of your license plate, and an LED makes great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer and they're more efficient, provide brighter light with less power output and of course, no bulbs to replace with brittle filaments. This is a nice clear lens over a white LED. It is a recessed mount. Comes with the included grommet.

Installation requires a three quarter inch diameter hole at the location you're going to install this in. It does include this nice locking ring on it. Prevents theft of the light, the ring will secure the light inside of the mounting hole on the trailer.It is a two wire design. Uses these male bullets which includes the power lead and a ground wire. This part is made in the USA.

The light diameter itself is going to be right at three quarters of an inch. Overall, including the grommet, is about one and one eighth inches. The wire length on this is right at eight inches. Operating voltage is nine volts to 16 volts. And then what I'm going to do is just put some power to this just to show you the light and how bright it is.

So we got our 12 volt power here. We'll hook up that and we'll hook up our other one. Now we'll go ahead and turn the power on and you can see there's your LED light. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how that one LED gives off a very nice shine. So with this around your license plate, it'll illuminate your license plate.

We'll go ahead and turn back on overhead lights, disconnect it. But that should do it for the review on the Peterson Great White Round LED trailer license plate light.
