Now that I'm driving a RED car I wanted a clean permanent mount for my Valentine One Radar Detector. At $45.99 for the mount plus cord I wanted to see if I could install this in my 2017 WRX instead of getting the blend mount which cost more than double and doesn't include the power wiring cord.

Since I still can't get a COBB + Tune for the 2017 i'm thinking my next mod is going to be either a cutback or possibly intake. But i'm also considering starting with an oil cooler to ensure things stay cool when I start making more power. Any suggestions?

Installed pretty smoothly. I found that the white wire that goes into the homelink mirror is the 12v switched power supply for the auto dimming homelink mirror. I'd imagine the auto dimming only mirror has similar wiring. The mount is so universal that it could work on most rearview mirrors. A decent product. Link is below...
