What To Say: SAY, TELL, TALK, SPEAK

We can express the process of saying something in several ways. For example, we can simply use SAY, TELL, TALK, or SPEAK. It is very normal to get confused about these because these also hold different meanings.
Now, lets see their differences. Basically, SAY is used when we have to simply state something. For example-" I want to say something". Again, TELL and TALK is used when you want to describe something. Suppose, "I want to tell you a story", "I want to talk about what happened yesterday". On the other hand, SPEAK is said when we want to talk in a specific language. Such as- "Can you speak ENGLISH?"
