In the 90s, when you turned on computers, they made all these sounds. The hard drives, disk drives, and floppy disks would spin, and you'd hear clickety and clackety noises. I looked at some of these old machines and found one claimed to be from 2015, but that can't be right.

It even mentioned Google and an Android ROM extension, which seems odd for a computer. When I remember the old days, you'd hear the fan spin, a beep, and the drives checking themselves, with BIOS info showing up. Computers back then had 75 MHz Pentium CPUs and 32 MB of RAM, and they worked fine for tasks like spreadsheets and basic photo editing.

Nowadays, we need gigabytes of memory just to get things to run, even on new Macs. Software back then was efficient! Watching old commercials brought back memories, like a Scone Computer Systems ad selling a complete package for $2495, which was a lot of money back then. They included everything from a sound card to a modem and even a gamepad.

It's funny to think Microsoft was eyeing gaming before the Xbox. Boot screens of the era had 200 MHz Pentium MMX CPUs with around 32 MB of RAM, which was standard and sufficient. The old keyboards and monitors were part of the charm.

Web development was a hassle with every browser needing different coding. Old Microsoft ads showed off Windows integrating apps like Lotus 1-2-3 and even included small bonuses like a clock program. Windows was a great value at $99, complete with various utilities.

Ah, nostalgia!
