This week’s Lost Ark update follows the one from last week in focusing on fixes and backend improvements in order to get ready for the big May update. That update has also been firmly placed on next week’s calendar, for May 19th.

There’s just one major fix in this update and it affects the PvP leaderboards. These were having an issue that prevented them from loading across all servers. So this update will patch that bug and hopefully those who are looking to rank can now follow their progress.

What should have everyone most excited though is the May update being confirmed to be coming next week. While Amazon and Smilegate RPG had initially postponed the arrival of some higher-tier content and a few progression help events have been running, last week’s update and reveal of the May update’s contents was not accompanied by complete certainty. However, they did express a belief that enough players would be properly skilled and at the right progression levels to enjoy the new content. With raids and other group content reliant upon a big enough pool for team finding, this made sense to ramp up, and it seems like it worked.
